Job Description for Tata Steel Off Campus Drive 2024 for Junior Engineer Trainee:

• Tata Steel Off Campus Drive 2024 hiring freshers for Junior Engineer Trainee Position
• Selected Candidates will be placed as Engineer Trainee for a duration of 1 year.
• Tata Steel is looking for young and bright Degree / Diploma holders in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Metallurgy / Ceramic / Chemical / Civil engineering to join as Junior Engineer Trainees.

Eligibility Criteria required for Tata Steel Engineer Trainee Position 2024:

• 3 or 4 years full time Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Metallurgy / Ceramic / Chemical / Civil Engineering from an AICTE / UGC recognised institute.

OR

• Diploma in Electronics / Mechatronics from RD Tata Technical Education Centre, Jamshedpur

OR

• Diploma in Electronics / Mechatronics from J N Tata Technical Education Centre, Gopalpur

OR

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronics from Tata Steel Technical Institute, Burmamines.

• Candidates in final year of their academic session leading to award of Degree/Diploma by July 2024 are also eligible to apply. The selected candidates must submit certificate of completion of degree/diploma by 31st August 2024. Training of those selected candidates who fail in their Degree/Diploma programme or are unable to produce the pass certificate by 31st August 2024, will be terminated.
• For General Male Candidates: Must have scored minimum of 60% (aggregate).
• For General Female Candidates: Must have scored minimum of 55% (aggregate).
• For Transgender Candidates: Must have scored minimum of 50% (aggregate).
• For ST/SC Candidates: Must have scored minimum of 50% (aggregate).
• Age Criteria for all Candidates: Should Between January 1, 1999, and January 1, 2007 (both days inclusive)

Salary/ CTC for Tata Steel Engineer Trainee Position 2024:

• Junior Engineer Trainee will be offered an all-inclusive Stipend of ₹16,531 per month during the period of 1 Year Training.
• Free hostel accommodation with food (at subsidized rates) will be provided to the eligible candidates, during the period of training only.

Selection Process for Tata Steel Engineer Trainee Position 2024:

• Eligible candidates will undergo an online Cognitive and Technical Test
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews either in person or on a virtual medium

Tata Steel Off Campus 2024 for Junior Engineer Trainee - Important Dates:

• Application for Tata Steel Junior Engineer Trainee On-line application will be open from 8th January 2024 to 19th January 2024.
• Admit Card for Tata Steel Junior Engineer Trainee will be released on 12th February 2024.
• Tata Steel Junior Engineer Trainee Centre Based Online Written Test will be conducted on 18th February 2024.

Important Note:

• No hard copy document to be submitted. All required documents to be attached in the online application, in absence of which the application may be rejected.
• The candidate needs to pay the required charges of Rs. 500/- to become eligible for taking the assessment. Please make the payment through Online Payment Gateway in the application only.
• Fees once paid in any case will not be refunded.
